Los Arcos Hotel was set up in 2004 thanks to a training project led by “Fundación Familias Unidas.” 

Familias Unidas is an organisation which has been working for the development of Estelí since 1997. One of its main general aims is to train young people in need in order to help them get a job.

Thanks to the work done by the brickwork students from the Foundation’s Training Centre, they have rebuilt and extended the Training Centre and they have given birth to what nowadays can be called “Escuela de Hostelería”. The earnings obtained from this School are invested in the rest of social projects carried out by the Foundation in Estelí.

This School is made up of Los Arcos hotel and a café-bar called Vuela Vuela.
